Flood

There has been more flood in many areas this year, compared to last year.
Flood in places like Bangpu industrial estate in Samutprakan province and Well Grow industrial estate in Chacherngsao province has caused a lot of damage to the factories and surrounding neighborhood. In August, the heavy rain also created much turmoil at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi international airport.



Apart from the direct damages caused by the flood, the aftermath also brings problematic pest problem. There are many cases where the flood chases out the rats and insects living underground or outside a building, and steers them into invading into premises of a house or factory. Some houses experience a sudden surge of termite population from this situation as well.

ในปีนี้เมื่อเทียบกับปีที่ผ่านๆมา พบว่ามีปริมาณฝนที่มากกว่าปกติ ซึ่งทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมบ่อยครั้งในหลายๆพื้นที่
โดยพบว่าน้ำได้ท่วมที่ถนนของนิคมอุตสาหกรรมบางปู จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ และนิคมอุตสาหกรรมเวลโกร เป็นจำนวนมาก ซึ่งส่งผลเสียหายมากมาย และในเดือนสิงหาคมที่สนามบินสุวรรณภูมิก็มีฝนตกหนักมาก ซึ่งก่อเกิดความวุ่นวายหลายอย่างด้วยเช่นกัน


แม้ความเสียหายที่เกิดจากน้ำท่วมโดยตรงก็มหาศาลอยู่แล้ว ยังมีผลเสียอื่นๆที่ตามมา และหนึ่งในนั้นคือการเคลื่อนไหวของสัตว์ และเหล่าแมลงรบกวนต่างๆที่อาจสร้างปัญหาได้ โดยมีทั้งเคสที่พบแมลงหรือหนูที่อาศัยอยู่ตามพื้นที่สีเขียวในบริเวณรอบๆโรงงาน หนีน้ำและบุกรุกเข้าไปอยู่ภายในอาคาร หรือเคสที่พบว่ามีปลวกบุกรุกเข้าสู่อาคารบ้านเรือน และสร้างรังทำให้เกิดความเสียหายได้
